Masih Fouladi is the Executive Director of Washington state chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-WA). Prior to that, Fouladi served as Advocacy Manager at the Greater Los Angeles Office of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA).
Michael German is a fellow with the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty and National Security Program, which seeks to ensure that the US government respects human rights and fundamental freedoms in its counterterrorism efforts. His work focuses on law enforcement and intelligence oversight and reform. Prior to joining the Brennan Center, Mr.
Malik Gillani is Founding Executive Director of Silk Road Rising, a theatre company located in downtown Chicago dedicated to presenting plays written by individuals of Asian and Middle Eastern descent. He brings extensive experience in producing, management, and business development to the position.
Jehan Hakim chairs The Yemeni Alliance Committee (YAC), which was formed after the first Muslim Ban (1/2017)- to support Yemeni-American communities in the Bay Area during periods of social unrest. The YAC organizes protests and actions, coordinates congressional visits, creates social media toolkits and campaigns to resist anti-Yemeni policies.
Umar A. Hakim serves as Executive Director of the Intellect Love Mercy Foundation, which seeks to empower underprivileged youth and adults through life skills education. After a 13 year career in telecommunications, Mr. Hakim became an urban social entrepreneur in order to prioritize his commitment to social and community service.
Tommy Hensel has been the Managing Director of the Fine and Performing Arts Center at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, IL (a southwestern suburb of Chicago) since 2008.
Margari Aziza Hill is the executive director and co-founder of MuslimARC, the Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative, a human rights education organization. She also works as an independent researcher, blogger, and freelance writer. After converting to Islam in 1993, her life experiences as a Black American woman have informed her research and writing on Islam, education, race, and gender.
Since 1997, Philip has overseen all aspects of the Sundance Institute Theatre Program. Under his aegis, the Institute’s developmental theatre labs have supported hundreds of artists and new plays and musicals that have gone on to production and acclaim at regional theatres across the U.S., including Broadway, and at international venues.
Jaylani Hussein is the executive director of the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MN). He previously worked as the Community Liaison Officer at Metro State University and as a Planner for the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. He also created Zeila Consultants to develop and offer cross-cultural training workshops on East African cultures. Mr.
Namira Islam is a poverty lawyer and graphic designer. She is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Muslim Anti-Racism Collaborative (MuslimARC), a faith-based human rights education organization which focuses on racial justice.
