Bio

Jordan Denari Duffner is a leading Catholic voice on Muslim-Christian relations and Islamophobia. She is the author ofFinding Jesus among Muslims: How Loving Islam Makes Me a Better Catholic, and her forthcoming book on Islamophobia is slated for publication in 2020. Currently pursuing a PhD in theology and religious studies at Georgetown University, Jordan is also an associate of the Bridge Initiative, where she previously worked as a research fellow studying Islamophobia. With the Bridge Initiative, Jordan released ‘Danger and Dialogue: American Catholics Perceptions and Portrayals of Islam,’ a ground-breaking report which included the first nationwide survey of Catholics’ views of Islam. A former Fulbright researcher in Amman, Jordan, Jordan has written for numerous publications, including the Washington Post, TIME, and America.
