Bio

Writer, speaker, and editor Ayesha Mattu's groundbreaking anthologies - "Love, InshAllah: The Secret Love Lives of American Muslim Women" and "Salaam Love: American Muslim Men on Love, Sex, & Intimacy" - were featured globally by media from the New York Times to The Jakarta Post. Her books sparked critically necessary conversations on relationships and sexuality within Muslim communities worldwide.

Ayesha believes that creativity, storytelling, radical love, and conscious relationships are foundational tools to transforming communities and societies. She was selected a 'Muslim Leader of Tomorrow' by the UN Alliance of Civilizations & the ASMA Society and has served on the boards of IDEX, the Women's Funding Network, and World Pulse. Ayesha is an alumna of Voices of Our Nations writers' workshop and is represented by Ayesha Pande Literary.
